About the Author
Mike Knetzger is a 22-year law enforcement veteran and 14-year college instructor with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC), Colorado Technical University Online (CTUonline), and Rasmussen College. Mr. Knetzger has had the opportunity to impact thousands of criminal justice students and help them attain their goals of becoming a police or correctional officer. Mr. Knetzger serves as a law enforcement officer, trainer, and SWAT team member with the Green Bay Police Department. Mr. Knetzger has an Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Waukesha County Technical College (1992), a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Justice & Public Policy from Concordia University (1996), and a Master of Arts Degree in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh (2000). Mr. Knetzger is a certified State of Wisconsin Technical College Instructor, Unified Tactical Trainer, and certified to teach across the entire criminal justice and tactical curriculum. Mr. Knetzger has been certified as an expert witness and consulted by district attorneys and police administrators within the state regarding legal, policy and procedure, personnel, and use of force matters. Mr. Knetzger is a sought after public speaker in support of the anti-drunk driving program, "Every 15 Minutes" where he shares the impacting story of his daughter, Ashley, who was killed by a drunk driver. Mr. Knetzger has shared, "Ashley's Story," with over 20,000 high school students, members of the United States Military, law enforcement organizations, and other community groups. In addition to this book, Mr. Knetzger has co-authored two others books, "True Crime in Titletown, USA Cold Cases" (Badger Books, 2005) and "Investigating High-Tech Crime" (Pearson Education, 2007). Mr. Knetzger has also been published on the nationwide law enforcement website, PoliceOne. Mr. Knetzger resides in Green Bay, Wisconsin with his wife, and their two children.
